Spellbinding Steeds at Hero Forge ®
A warrior’s steed is much more than just a pet; they are an integral part of their life. A steed is an ally, a trusted companion, and a warrior in their own right, as a steed is trusted to charge into battle be it a simple tournament with lances and swords or a full war against thousands. Typically horses are the mount of choice, but when we enter the fantasy world we get loads of new options. When we look at the polar opposites of good and evil we get horse-inspired mounts loaded with power.
Unicorns for one are destined to help those that are good and pure of heart and they make excellent mounts. Their horns like a spear are built right in, but possess magical abilities that can perfectly complement them. On the other side is the nightmare. A beast born of darkness and flame. A nightmare is a creature of pure evil ready to serve its dark master and perform whatever dark deeds need to be done.
But whether you are looking to ride a regular horse, a nightmare or even a unicorn riding your steed into battle is a glorious thing. In a recent game, I played a paladin, and paladins are known for casting “Find Steed”, calling forth a companion and trusted ally. So being a paladin myself I know there is nothing better to either use at the gaming table or have as a keepsake than a Hero Forge ® mini riding such a glorious mount.
Recently released on the Hero Forge® website are these new mounts. Deep within enchanting forests or isolated in the reaches of foreboding rocky mountains, you might be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of one of these mystical mounts. Imbued with magic, the graceful Unicorn and fiery Nightmare have challenging temperaments that rarely tolerate the presence of others. Earn their trust and gain a loyal steed in the Species menu!
I have an ever-growing collection of Hero Forge ® minis. I have made it my standard practice that for every game I start playing I design a figure over on Heroforge.com to get a good concept of what they look like. I then order it for my collection. Given all the ordering options there are choices for everyone. If you own or have access to your own 3d printer you can get the STL files for your design. But if not, you can get your mini in plastic, various metals, or even color printed so it shows up just as it was designed. So go check all the ever-expanding options, see the Spellbinding steeds over at heroforge.com, and get your D&D mini or keepsake today.
