Kickstarter Korner for April 2018, International Tabletop Day Edition
Each week during the Quests & Adventures live chat, Saturday at 2 p.m. eastern, Nerdarchists Dave and Ted and Nate the Nerdarch hang out live with fans from the Nerdarchy YouTube channel. It’s a chance to share announcements and news, answer questions from the live chat and generally just hang out and talk nerdy with the Nerdarchy community.
In the description of each weekly video, Nerdarchist Ted compiles a list and links to all the videos and website content from the week. But he also shares a selection of cool Kickstarter campaigns. As an avid Kickstarter supporter, he’s happy to share his favorite RPG and gaming-related Kickstarters with you, the Nerdarchy community. Enjoy!

Protip: Our friends and colleagues over at Web DM teach an invaluable lesson this weekend as their YouTube channel hit to 100,000 subscriber mark. There’s no such thing as an overnight success — these folks put in the effort and challenged themselves to learn and grow, and continue doing so through new endeavors and improving the original ones. It’s been a wild few years since Jim Davis and Jonathan Pruitt kicked down the door, drew their swords and talked about D&D. A lot of creators I know cringe when they’re reminded of their early work, but for my money those are the best ones. They were your first step. And there must have been something wonderful and special about them if you’re still doing it today. And on International Tabletop Day no less!
These folks have welcomed new players to the hobby we all love, showed old gamers new tricks and helped RPG fans think about our games in new ways. We’ve gamed with them ourselves more than a few times too. As we all keep working hard and moving forward with the support of the awesome fans and RPG community, we’re proud to be friends with this awesome crew and keep bringing people to the table together to roll funny-shaped dice.
To Jim, Pruitt, Travis, Emma, Josh and everyone else in the Web DM family, congratulations, and stay nerdy!
