Greetings all, Nerdarchist Ted here to bring you, hopefully, into an awesome board game. Betrayal at house on the Hill by Avalon Hill a sub company of Wizards of the Coast, or as I like to call it Horror Movie the board game.
A brief synopsis of the game is you are a group of people who stumble upon a house and decide to explore it. The front door locks behind you and you are forced to explore to find a way out. Some time after you start exploring the house, things go crazy and one of your party members turns evil. It is then one player versus the rest.

What is a role-playing game without a good dungeon crawl? Now if I’m giving game master tips to a newbie GM or DM I’d say when it comes to planning adventures less is more.
You don’t want to make your players feel like their always entering the “dungeon”. Sure every once and a while throw in the classic “YES” this is absolutely a dungeon crawl style adventure, but mix things up a bit.
What is dungeon-
For all intents and purposes when we are talking about a Dungeons and Dragons style game a dungeon is a confined space with defined boundaries limiting the choices your players have as to where they can go and has an objective for your players.

Today we are going to talk about the Burrowing Bulette (pronounced boo-lay). The Bulette is a magical beast and is commonly referred to as a land shark.
It has the ability to burrow in soft soil and actually has a burrow speed. Now though it posses an animal intelligence and has its similarities to trolls in that it only lives to eat and breed. You need not use it as a mindless strait forward killing machine.
