Starfinder Twitch premiere reveal event June 13!

Hey, nerds! We’re sure you’re all super excited for the upcoming release of Starfinder. We sure are! There are a lot of really cool things coming up in this game. Seven classes, rules for starship combat, magic — in space! And coming from the people who brought us Pathfinder you know this is going to be something really excellent.
So just in case you’ve been living under a rock or somehow stumbled onto the Nerdarchy website on accident due to a malfunction in your operating system or through a random surge of black magic, let’s review. Starfinder is a science fantasy game, set thousands of years in the future of its predecessor, Pathfinder. That means all of your old favorite races are still viable, and there are some new ones, too.
The whole thing is designed to be backwards compatible with Pathfinder, allowing you to take your Starfinder character and slay dragons for example. The sheer amount of temporal nonsense this is going to allow for is staggering.
The game doesn’t come out until August, but anybody feeling that burning curiosity and desire to know more before that happens is in luck. There’s a taste of Starfinder coming to Twitch live on June 13.
Nerdarchy part of Starfinder premiere reveal on Twitch
The live stream premiere reveal event on Twitch will be run by Owen K.C. Stephens, game designer and developer for Paizo publishing. Our own Nerdarchist Ted will be participating and with so many savvy roleplayers involved it’s sure to be a great time. After all, how often do you see so many recognizable names in one place? And in space‽
If that hasn’t hooked you, consider the idea that this game will be a sneak peek into some of what Starfinder has in store for the tabletop multiverse. At the very least there won’t be any space hippos this time around. Hopefully.
A hardcover physical version is set for release on Aug. 17, with the PDF version of following in September.
