Power up your Hero Forge Minis with Decorative Base Rings

D&D Ideas -- Future
Elven Guardian Armor at Hero Forge

It is time to make those fancy minis you have been getting at Hero Forge ® even fancier. I have been purchasing Hero Forge Minis for years and it has been an awesome ride so far to see the regular and amazing updates and improvements to the website and thus the choices the customers have to customize their miniatures.

First the enjoyment of just making custom minis was great and their original choices were great. I jumped right in and was making minis. If you are familiar with the earlier characters I played, Relellion my first 5th edition cleric and my ranger/rogue: Eyes were the first minis I made. Of course there was no color printed option back then so they just got my basic level of painting skills I had back then. Not even a wash. Wow, I know right. They eventually went to Kickstarter and learned there was a large audience who wanted them to have minis printed in amazing color options so the need to paint minis was no longer necessary for those who either don’t want to paint or lack the steady hand for those great details. For me now they are a go to, when I am either getting ready to start a new game or about to end one so that I have a forever keepsake of my character.

Hero Forge ® has gone further to release new content every Tuesday, follow them on social media for their Treasure Tuesday releases to see what new thing you can add to your character. Along with all the fantastic customization features, like positioning your mini exactly as you want, coloring individual parts and pieces as you see fit, they continue to add new elements to enhance your miniature.

You have your choice of materials each with its own price range. If you want a truly memorable keepsake, have it printed in metal, Brass or steel and it can be a statue in your games’ town for all the heroic deeds they did in the ancient past, or if you are feeling artsy you have the option to have it printed in premium plastic that you can paint however you like.

Now all of those customizations include decorative bases. Make your mini stand out at the table by adding these 2 new options onto the base of your mini. The two options are Decorative Dwarven Rim and Patterned Stone Rim. You can see both options in the picture included here. Adding in the ability to color it or ‘paint’ it the color of your choice and have it printed that way makes this new detail even more superb.

I look forward to my next order to add these new details to my miniatures I collect in the future. So go check out Hero Forge ® and see how you can customize your own mini today. Thanks for Reading. Until Next Time, Stay Nerdy!
