Nerdarchy on New D&D Magic Items for Strixhaven A Curriculum of Chaos
In this 12-minute video on Nerdarchy the YouTube channel Nerdarchists Dave and Ted dive back into the new 5E D&D book Strixhaven: Curriculum of Chaos. They look at the new magic items in this latest official sourcebook.
Strixhaven presents eight new 5E D&D magic items, which the book indicated can be purchased on campus using the prices in the Magic Items for Sale table . All of them are wondrous items with five requiring attunement by a spellcaster. There’s three common items and five uncommon items. There’s also some more powerful items tied to the four linked adventures contained in the book.
In the video they take a closer look at these items and pick their favorites. They also share some useful insights about the magic items for when the rubber hits the road, noting how several of these items offer more benefit to characters who aren’t primarily spellcasters but nevertheless still have spellcasting capabilities.
