Kickstarter Korner for September 2018, Week 2

Each week during the Quests & Adventures live chat, Saturday at 2 p.m. eastern, Nerdarchists Dave and Ted and Nate the Nerdarch hang out live with fans from the Nerdarchy YouTube channel. It’s a chance to share announcements and news, answer questions from the live chat and generally just hang out and talk nerdy with the Nerdarchy community.

In the description of each weekly video, Nerdarchist Ted compiles a list and links to all the videos and website content from the week. But he also shares a selection of cool Kickstarter campaigns. As an avid Kickstarter supporter, he’s happy to share his favorite RPG and gaming-related Kickstarters with you, the Nerdarchy community. Enjoy!

Protip: Hey, if you are a fan of Nerdarchy perhaps you do not know we give away awesome prizes all the time. Besides all the content you can enjoy for free on YouTube and here on our website, we have giveaways every month and then some. Our biggest giveaway to date was an $1800 cabin on the Fan2sea Cruise that happened in 2017. Every month we give away a prize typically ranging from $50-$100. We do Gleam contests offering up other prizes like the one going on right now for a whole bunch of Easy Roller Dice products. Easy Roller Dice are Nerdarchy’s dice of choice for tabletop RPGs.

Monte Cook Games had a Kickstarter for Invisible Sun a while back and it was a major success. Invisible Sun is a new TTRPG that has everything you need to play the game within one amazing black box. You have rule books, decks of cards, props and dice. Literally everything needed to play the game in one box — a box weighing nearly 30 pounds! We did an unboxing on our live chat on Saturday September 1. You can learn more about this awesome game I’m eager to check out over at www.montecookgames.com.

While Invisible Sun comes with a mighty price tag, it is worth it. So as you can see in our unboxing, we over ordered. We purposely bought two extra copies just to give away to a couple of awesome people in the Nerdarchy community. Now I know what you are thinking, you have either already heard about how great a game this is or you have bounced over to the MCG website and want to know how to get one.

The first Saturday in October and November we will be announcing the winner. To get in on this wonderful chance, a mighty prize indeed, you have two options. The easiest is to head over to our Patreon and support us there. Patreon supporters at any level, including $1 a month, gets you in on this wonderful prize opportunity. If that is not to your liking you can check out the contest section here on the website, fill out the form and mail it in to our PO box. Each month, you can enter via form only once, and it must be received in time to be counted for the contest.

I must say that this giveaway has nothing to do with YouTube, Patreon or anything else for that matter. Nerdarchy just likes giving away great stuff to folks in the community and these epic RPG boxes are just one way we like to show it. So go ahead and share this information out there. Get your entire gaming group in on the chances so that you can up your chances of one of these awesome gaming boxes can grace your table and can you explore the fantastic world of Invisible Sun.
