Kickstarter Korner for May 2018, Week 4
Each week during the Quests & Adventures live chat, Saturday at 2 p.m. eastern, Nerdarchists Dave and Ted and Nate the Nerdarch hang out live with fans from the Nerdarchy YouTube channel. It’s a chance to share announcements and news, answer questions from the live chat and generally just hang out and talk nerdy with the Nerdarchy community.
In the description of each weekly video, Nerdarchist Ted compiles a list and links to all the videos and website content from the week. But he also shares a selection of cool Kickstarter campaigns. As an avid Kickstarter supporter, he’s happy to share his favorite RPG and gaming-related Kickstarters with you, the Nerdarchy community. Enjoy!

Protip: On Twitter the other day, I saw a poll asking what sorts of resources Game Masters wish there were more or spend their time searching for among maps, creatures, plot hooks or something else. The conversation thread was really interesting and insightful into how GMs approach their campaigns. But what struck me was the larger idea that emerged in the discussion. Most respondents noted the best resources a GM has access to are the players themselves, and to a related extent the RPG community across the world. Armed with the best maps, amazing monsters and complex adventure plots, a GM is nothing without a group of people join the game and add their own elements to a campaign. And in a much broader sense, reaching out to the RPG community in the same way as the poster is invaluable. To that end, if you’re a Twitter user, make use of hashtags like #DnD and #RPG for your questions and thoughts. These two hashtags are extremely strong and help your message reach far. You never know who might answer, from Wizards of the Coast staff like Chris Perkins to streamers or any of the countless fans of our awesome hobby. You can always hit us up and tag @Nerdarchy in your tweets too. We’d love to hear from you!
