Tabletop Terrors – Are Your Races Boring -Tieflings

5E D&D Modern Magic and Campaign Rules
5th Edition - The Warlock: Are You Playing It Right?

Tabletop TerrorsIn this episode of Campaign Architect, we start off by telling you that your races are boring—and you’ll probably want to smack us when we give you our solution.

The Tieflings of Dragongrin

By shaking up common culture tropes and applying one race’s traits to another race, you can tieflingimmediately make something very unique. Any fantasy game world runs the risk of falling flat if there are too many things that are a ‘given’.

The examples you’ll see in this video could easily cause a ‘familiarity breeds contempt’ scenario. Sometimes when I see someone’s exact creative process, it can suck the wonder out of it for me. Hopefully you can look past that in this case, and focus on the end results. We’re quite happy with them.

In this video, you’ll meet the Tieflings of our campaign world of Dragongrin. You’ll meet the Granok Thane—warriors who delight in the pain of abstinence, and who have mastered the art of Arcane Gastronomy. And you’ll also meet the Vilok—militant Tieflings who dig tirelessly to fight their war, who delight in severe and powerful stage plays and songs.

The Pay What You Want PDF features detailed information to plug these two subsets of Tiefling into your campaign world. It includes:

* Stats and Traits for 2 Entirely New Types of Tieflingarcane gastonomy
* 6 New spells
* 4 New Potions
* 6 Plot Hooks
* Detailed information on each Tiefling

Finally, these ideas are system agnostic, and can be used in any role playing games. Whether you’re building a world for dungeons and dragons, or any other tabletop rpgs—these concepts can be plugged in immediately.
