E21 Yr1- Magic Nerdarchy Talks Spell Slinging In D&D 5E| Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition Podcast

podcastEpisode 20 of the Nerdarchy Year One Podcast. This time we’ve got a special guest to help us talk about Dungeons and Dragons character classes. This time we are focusing on the cleric. A divine spell cast that can channel the power their deity.

Kerry experience was more with the Pathfinder system than the other Dungeons and Dragons systems and/or clones. But a cleric is a cleric in nearly any kind of fantasy tabletop role-playing game you play.

You Gotta Have Faith With The D&D Cleric| Dungeons and Dragons Classes

Dungeons and Dragons Classes You Gotta Faith With The D&D Cleric
Nerdarchy sits down with special guest Kerry for a cleric discussion. The cleric is considered one of the essential characters in a D&D an adventuring party by many. A cleric can be the back bone in your party. They bolster the party through their divine spells, put them back together through healing magic, and can even keep the undead at bay through the might of their charisma and faith in a deity.
In Dungeons and Dragons or even Pathfinder the cleric can be on of the most exciting classes to play or the most boring. If you really delve into what motivates your holy roller and make them more than the combat medic the cleric becomes one of the most interesting player choices.
What are your experiences with playing a cleric in D&D or Pathfinder?

My name is Dave Friant I've been gaming off and on for over 27 years. But here is the thing it's always been a part of my life I've kept secret and hidden away. I've always been ashamed of the stigma that gaming and my other nerdy and geeky pursuits summon forth. Recently I decided screw it! This is who I am the world be damned. From now on I'm gonna be a geek, nerd, or however folks want to judge me and just enjoy life. Currently one of my greatest joys is introducing my 13 yr old son to table top RPG's.
