Board Games in Review – Resistor – Card Game
Hello Board Game fans let me introduce you to a wonderful card game: Resistor. You might have seen my earlier post talking about this wonderful game while it was on kickstarter. Well if you missed the article or missed kickstarter today is your lucky day. The game is fully published and available on Amazon.
It is the era of nuclear war. Countries stockpiling global thermonuclear warheads have entrusted their nukes to supercomputers. Two such computers, Deep Red and BLU9000, have had their launch sequence initiated. Fearing mutually assured destruction, the computers race to hack one another so they can launch unimpeded and destroy their enemy.
Will You Survive Nuclear War with Resistor?
Resistor is a great head to head card game where you take turns trying to line up the signal to hack into your opponent.
All the cards are double sided and you have to hold so you see one side and your opponent sees the other side. You start with 7 cards between you. As you play and get a signal across through your color the number of cards shrink making it easier for both players to get a signal across.
Turns are fast and games typically can be over in 20 to 30 minutes. With special cards and optional rules you have hours and hours of great game play ahead if you get your own copy of Resistor.
I have met the designers of this game and they are great people. So get yourself a copy pf this fantastic card game here. Thanks for reading and always: Until Next Time, Stay Nerdy!
