PERSONALITY – Known for his cheerfulness, Shulgwarn is always ready to bolster the spirits of those around him

IDEALS – Shulgwarn believes that aiding those in need is a duty of those who have been blessed with the ability to do so.

BONDS – Shulgwarn is a noble member of the Fi-Iron Clasp Clan. One of four brothers and three sisters, Shulgwarn takes great pride in the service and loyalty his family gives to their clan. He is now in the sixth year of a 20 year mission assigned by the Fi-Iron Clasp Clan Leader Ignabar Blueshelm. Ignabar sent Shulgwarn out to adventure and learn more of the areas and cultures far from their cherished hill home and to bring his knowledge and experience back to the Fi-Iron Clasp Clan.

NPCFLAWS – Shulgwarn’s father was blinded in his left eye, by a broken branch that struck him when a mighty oak was felled in a storm near his home. Shulgwarn remains in the Frightened Condition when he can see or hear a storm that has raged for longer than a short rest.


Dungeon Master Use for Shulgwarn Harl

– Your Player Characters come across Shulgwarn, unconscious, on the road to the next village. When he is revived Shulgwarn explains that one of the party member in his adventuring band was killed and that his entire adventuring band were ambushed as they were journeying to find a wizard powerful enough to resurrect him. The thieves outnumbered his adventuring band and stole the Hill Dwarf D&D1,500 gp the adventuring band had gathered to pay for the Resurrection spell. Shulgwarn’s weapons and armor were also stolen.


Player Use for Shulgwarn Harl

– Supply Shulgwarn’s Character Block (including name, stats and background aspects) to your Dungeon Master after an encounter during the game. Explain that your character met Shulgwarn at an inn a few months ago and Shulgwarn supplied your character with a magical coin that if thrown into any river, will transport you and your allies to the delta of the Weslir river that supplies the water for all of the Fi-Iron Clasp Clan near Shulgwarn’s home. Shulgwarn gave your character this coin to use when an eclipse was occurring as anyone who drank from the stream on that night would be imbued with the blessings of the Weslir Hills. Explain that your character wishes to seek a Sage to determine when the next eclipse is.
