Kickstarter Korner for May 2018, Week 2
Each week during the Quests & Adventures live chat, Saturday at 2 p.m. eastern, Nerdarchists Dave and Ted and Nate the Nerdarch hang out live with fans from the Nerdarchy YouTube channel. It’s a chance to share announcements and news, answer questions from the live chat and generally just hang out and talk nerdy with the Nerdarchy community.
In the description of each weekly video, Nerdarchist Ted compiles a list and links to all the videos and website content from the week. But he also shares a selection of cool Kickstarter campaigns. As an avid Kickstarter supporter, he’s happy to share his favorite RPG and gaming-related Kickstarters with you, the Nerdarchy community. Enjoy!

Protip: Take turns as Game Master within your group. Even the most dedicated GM needs a break now and again, and it can be a great aid for running games to experience a player’s perspective too. For players it’s a chance to get behind the screen and see what it’s like to be in control of everything except a single character. In Nerdarchists Dave and Ted’s concurrent Gryphongaffe campaigns for fifth edition Dungeons & Dragons, they each run one session per month for whoever is able to attend, with one weekend get-together to play a different game and another weekend off. That way everyone gets a chance to play and run games. Both their long campaigns, which started with 1st-level characters shortly after 5E was released, are nearing their end. The heroes are closing in on 20th level and all their amazing adventures are coming to a head. Along the way those experienced GMs learned a lot themselves, and shared a lot of wisdom with the Nerdarchy community. Here’s to many more years of awesome adventures both as players and GMs, and away from the table with friends, the Nerdarchy family and gamers around the world. Stay nerdy!
