Kickstarter Korner for March 2018, Week 4

Each week during the Quests & Adventures live chat, Saturday at 2 p.m. eastern, Nerdarchists Dave and Ted and Nate the Nerdarch hang out live with fans from the Nerdarchy YouTube channel. It’s a chance to share announcements and news, answer questions from the live chat and generally just hang out and talk nerdy with the Nerdarchy community.

In the description of each weekly video, Nerdarchist Ted compiles a list and links to all the videos and website content from the week. But he also shares a selection of cool Kickstarter campaigns. As an avid Kickstarter supporter, he’s happy to share his favorite RPG and gaming-related Kickstarters with you, the Nerdarchy community. Enjoy!

RPG Related Kickstarters

Protip: It can’t hurt to ask. For our upcoming first ever Kickstarter campaign, we reached out to Critical Role Dungeon Master and all-around awesome human Matt Mercer to write the foreword – and he said yes! In the Quests & Adventures live chat below, Nerdarchists Dave and Ted and Nate the Nerdarch share more details about that and the Kickstarter itself. Everyone here at Nerdarchy is super pumped for this upcoming Kickstarter project! In a more direct gaming example for the power of a great question, author, staff writer and awesome roleplayer Megan R. Miller asked a question during our most recent Ingest Quest game about an item the party discovered. Although no one in the party might be aware, her question and the answer steered the story in a somewhat different and very significant way.

So whether you’re gathered around the table rolling funny-shaped dice, or you’re on the fence about reaching out to someone for an answer to a big important question, just go for it. Be inquisitive and ask questions. Heck, most of those in the Nerdarchy family are here either because they asked to help, or we asked if anyone would help us out. Because of it, we’ve made new friends, played awesome games and continued building this incredible community together.
