Fun Games

Back in March 2013 this thing called Geek Fest happened in South Jersey.

That is where I first encountered Brian Motter and his company Black Slither Games. My son David, my brother Ryan, and I got a chance to demo the game Bear vs. Gorilla vs. CEO vs. Hippie. Which is fast paced, action-packed, and has fun game play to it. Right now Brian currently has two games under his belt, with a half game about to drop, and his third full game Battle of the Electric Vikings slated to be released later this year.

Recently Nerdarchy got to sit down and interview Brian about his company Black Slither Games.

It was a lot of fun hanging out and learning what we could expect from Mr. Motter in the near future. He’s got not one, but two projects going to Kickstarter this month. One is for the half pack of Bear vs. Gorilla vs. CEO vs. Hippie and the other is for Battle of the Electric Vikings. You can support the half pack of Bear vs. Gorilla vs. CEO vs. Hippie until may 12th.

Black Slither Games needs you. Go help them out you won’t be disappointed.

Later this month you will be able to help Battle of the Electric Vikings come into existence as well, so keep checking back with KickStarter and help Brian out.

Black Slither Games

Talking to Brian one of the things he made clear was he wanted to create fun games that were easy to learn, could be played quickly, and possibly while drinking or even as drinking games. Ultimately what Brian said was “He wanted to make the games he would want to play.”

Real quick disclaimer Nerdarchy isn’t receiving anything to help promote these products. Matter of fact both Ted and myself of Nerdarchy paid cash for the BGCH game. There are two reasons we are so adamant about supporting these products-

1) We love KickStarter and want it to continue to help the little guy succeed.

2) We are gamers that love playing fun games.

It’s really that simple.geek fest

During our time with Brian we learned some fun facts about him like he is an amateur MMA fighter who has a fight coming up May 17th at the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, New Jersey for Asylum Fight League at 8pm.

This will be his second fight ever and he’s looking to avenge the loss of his first fight. So not only is our friend from the Geek Fest nerdy, but he can kick some ass too.

Also he’ll be at Philly Wizard World June 19-22 and Too Many Games in Philly 27-29 so if you are in the Philadelphia go hang out with Brian and tell him Nerdarchy sent ya.

Until next time my friends stay nerdy and support your gaming community.

Don’t forget to check out- Black Slither Games

My name is Dave Friant I've been gaming off and on for over 27 years. But here is the thing it's always been a part of my life I've kept secret and hidden away. I've always been ashamed of the stigma that gaming and my other nerdy and geeky pursuits summon forth. Recently I decided screw it! This is who I am the world be damned. From now on I'm gonna be a geek, nerd, or however folks want to judge me and just enjoy life. Currently one of my greatest joys is introducing my 13 yr old son to table top RPG's.
