Episode 50 of Nerdarchy the Podcast Year One

This episode of the podcast is actually a video response to two of the different other YouTube Channels we made friends with early on.

Both still have plenty of content up for you to check out and enjoy. The links to both channels and be found below. Back in those days Nerdarchy did way more video responses. We still do one from time to time, but not as often as we used to in the past.

Tabeletop Gaming with Juce-Here

SR2Joker- Here

Nerdarchy delves into another discussion sparked by some great RPG YouTubers SR2Joker and Tabeletop Gaming with Juce. So the discussion is on how to best create or develop a character for a role-playing game?

Do you create their back story whole clothe right from the get go or do you just do a bare bones outline and fill in the blanks during game play. Even if you create the whole story is there room for character growth or is it basically done?

We tear into our methodology of character development and our opinion of static characterizations versus character growth over the course of a campaign arc in a RPG Game.

My name is Dave Friant I've been gaming off and on for over 27 years. But here is the thing it's always been a part of my life I've kept secret and hidden away. I've always been ashamed of the stigma that gaming and my other nerdy and geeky pursuits summon forth. Recently I decided screw it! This is who I am the world be damned. From now on I'm gonna be a geek, nerd, or however folks want to judge me and just enjoy life. Currently one of my greatest joys is introducing my 13 yr old son to table top RPG's.
