Episode 40 of the Nerdarchy Podcast Year One. This was the first video n our pros and cons series for RPG genres. Fantasy seemed to be the appropriate place for Nerdarchy to start. It’s what we know best and have played the most of. It is probably our favorite genre by far.

Tabletop Fantasy RPGs Pros and Cons of RPG Genres

Tabletop Fantasy RPGs Pros and Cons of RPG Genres Nerdarchy gets together to talk the good, the bad, and the ugly of the fantasy genre of tabletop rpg games. Our discussion is not system or edition specific as long it is fantasy and a rpg it’s fair game for this nerd discussion. Even though most of our experience is D&D based, but we have played other games like Dungeon World and Mutants and Masterminds in fantasy campaign settings. That being said we’ve played a ton of different kinds of fantasy games with in the dungeons and dragons rules. We’d love to hear about your Pro’s and Con’s list for Fantasy Tabletop RPG’s.

My name is Dave Friant I've been gaming off and on for over 27 years. But here is the thing it's always been a part of my life I've kept secret and hidden away. I've always been ashamed of the stigma that gaming and my other nerdy and geeky pursuits summon forth. Recently I decided screw it! This is who I am the world be damned. From now on I'm gonna be a geek, nerd, or however folks want to judge me and just enjoy life. Currently one of my greatest joys is introducing my 13 yr old son to table top RPG's.
