Episode 39 of Nerdarchy the Podcast Year One. Here we recap a D&D 5E game we played in for the first Brigade Con. The game was run by Andrew Knapp of YouTube Channel SR2Joker.

It was set in Planescape and was designed to be a meat grinder of a game in the style of old school modules like Tomb of Horrors where you aren’t really intended to survive the adventure.

It’s more about how long you can last than anything. There were plenty of deaths and surprises in the game.

D&D 5E Gameplay Set in the Planescape Meat Grinder- Recap
Nerdarchy sits back to reflect in SR2Jokers Brigade Con Planescape meat grinder game. It was the 1st for many of our Nerdarchists. First meat grinder, first online Google hangout game, and first online convention.

We had lot of fun and I highly recommend online RPG gaming to anyone that wants to get more gaming in. The one shot group on Facebook is great for this All of the online games aside from Brigade Con I’ve played in have been because of that group. Share you experience with gaming online with us in comments.

My name is Dave Friant I've been gaming off and on for over 27 years. But here is the thing it's always been a part of my life I've kept secret and hidden away. I've always been ashamed of the stigma that gaming and my other nerdy and geeky pursuits summon forth. Recently I decided screw it! This is who I am the world be damned. From now on I'm gonna be a geek, nerd, or however folks want to judge me and just enjoy life. Currently one of my greatest joys is introducing my 13 yr old son to table top RPG's.
