Welcome to another episode of Nerdarchy Year One the podcast. This may very well be one of our longest D&D videos that isn’t a game play or Live Chat. This time we are having one of very wizard discussions. This conversation spans our breath of gaming from AD&D to the very beginning of 5th Edition Dungeons and Dragons.

Getting Wise and Weird with the D&D Wizard| Dungeons and Dragons Classes

Dungeons and Dragons Classes- Getting Wise and Weird with the D&D Wizard
Of all the dungeons and dragons classes I believe the wizard is the most iconic. No other class really encompasses what D&D is like the wizard. It’s that class that new players aspire to play as the veteran gamers at the table tell them their not ready to handle the wizard yet. It’s the class veteran gamers spend years mastering. Wizards are the epitome of what the fantasy genre is all about. Heck my current character as of writing this description is a dwarven wizard with the soldier background in a 5th edition dungeons and dragons game and is looking like he’ll be one of my all time favorite characters in D&D yet.
Do you have a favorite wizard or even some other character class from a D&D game? Feel free to tell us about them in the comments below. We love hearing about anything tabletop RPG related.

My name is Dave Friant I've been gaming off and on for over 27 years. But here is the thing it's always been a part of my life I've kept secret and hidden away. I've always been ashamed of the stigma that gaming and my other nerdy and geeky pursuits summon forth. Recently I decided screw it! This is who I am the world be damned. From now on I'm gonna be a geek, nerd, or however folks want to judge me and just enjoy life. Currently one of my greatest joys is introducing my 13 yr old son to table top RPG's.
