Magic of Dungeons & Dragons: Getting the Most from Your Spells

Maybe you aren’t familiar with Deck of Many and their fine products. Here is a primer. The Deck of Many is a series of 5E reference cards. It is a tool used to assist Game Masters in their roleplaying campaigns, freeing them from traditional reference books and allowing them to only bring the references they need. Each card features original artwork and easy to reference information. Guest artists include: Peter Mohrbacher, Jason Engle, Steve Argyle, Thomas Baxa, Tom Babbey, Aaron Miller, Jeff Miracola, and Leesha Hanigan

If you are wondering where you can get some of these sweet reference spell cards for your fifth edition Dungeons and Dragons game — wonder no more! They’re available through the Deck of Many website.

Their product is based on the Open Gaming Licence provided by Wizards of the Coast. They have a Patreon where they create new content regularly. There are two custom creations per each monster deck.

Deck of Many has launched their latest endeavor to improve your D&D game. Most of the products have greatly benefited Game Masters in the past.

This time around they are turning their eyes and efforts towards the players at the table with Deck of Many Animated Spells: DnD 5E Spell Cards.

Fling powerful magics with style using Deck of Many’s unabridged Animated Spell Cards for DnD 5E.

Animated Spell Cards will remove the need to carry books to reference these spells whether you are the GM or a player at the table. Not only will casting your D&D Spells be easier than ever, they’ll also be cooler.

You can see their full coolness in effect down below. Heads up — you can’t grab these bad boys from their site yet, but you can back them over on Kickstarter. It is already funded and working on stretch goals.

But there’s more! Not only can you get animated spell cards, you can grab yourself an animated Deck of Many Things as well.

Currently through the Kickstarter you can get access to the Animated Spell Cards and Deck of Animated Things: Gloom and Doom. The Kickstarter is about half way to the first stretch goal with nearly four weeks left to go as of the time of writing this article. The Deck of Many Animated Spells Kickstarter ends on Oct. 4, 2018.

Check out their website to see what they’re all about, then go give their Kickstarter a look.

My name is Dave Friant I've been gaming off and on for over 27 years. But here is the thing it's always been a part of my life I've kept secret and hidden away. I've always been ashamed of the stigma that gaming and my other nerdy and geeky pursuits summon forth. Recently I decided screw it! This is who I am the world be damned. From now on I'm gonna be a geek, nerd, or however folks want to judge me and just enjoy life. Currently one of my greatest joys is introducing my 13 yr old son to table top RPG's.
