Nerdarchy friend and regular gamer in Nerdarchist Dave’s Gryphongaff game, Anthony Amato from Cardboard Fortress Games joined the daily live chat to talk nerdy. Amato is a graphic designer, illustrator and game designer. Along with fiance and longtime business partner Nicole Kline, they’ve created several tabletop games like RESISTOR_. He’s also contributed work to other games like Grow, designed artwork for the Tabletop Cooperative and is a regular at the Philly Game Forge’s dev night.

Cardboard Fortress Games’ latest project, Lazer Ryderz, enjoyed a successful Kickstarter campaign. Described as “a high-speed, high-energy, trackless racing game with light push your luck, area denial, and strategy elements,” Lazer Ryderz is currently available for preorder.

Fans of Nerdarchy’s live games will also recognize Amato and Kline as the gobbolo duo Pickledick and Grundlepunch from the Chimes of Dischordia campaign.

In the live chat, Amato talks about game design, RPG player communities, creating and playing interesting characters and his likes and dislikes when it comes to current and past editions of Dungeons & Dragons and other tabletop games.
